The SubmarAnn Sandwich

By Josée BrunetteServes: 5-6 sous-marAnn

Ingredients:

2 sweet peppers in strips

10 slices of pepperoni

10 slices of fondue steaks

5 capicola slice

5 slices of black forest ham

5-6 submarine style buns

2 cups of iceberg lettuce in strips

10 slices of tomatoes

1.5 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

1 jar of Dic Ann’s sauce

1 jar of Dic Ann’s Spicy Mayo – optional

Chopped onions – optional

Instructions:

Stir the pot of Dic Ann’s sauce and pour it into a small saucepan and boil. Simmer over medium heat to thicken it (20-30 minutes depending on taste)

Put the oven at 350 degrees and put the open breads in it to make them hot and crisp, bake for a few minutes (to taste).

Cook the strips of peppers in a pan, then add the steak over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes so that they are a little golden. Add the other meats to the pan for a few more minutes.

Assembly of the submarAnn:

Spread some Dic Ann’s Spicy Mayo onto the bottom of the submarine bread (optional but highly recommended for an extra delicious kick).

Add the meats and peppers.

Add a little grated cheddar cheese to taste.

Add the tomatoes and lettuce and onions.

And for the final touch, add some hot Dic Ann’s sauce and enjoy!
